18 ^a“Behold, My ^{▼▼ Lit Child} Servant whom I ^{▼▼ Lit chose} have chosen;
^d My Beloved in whom My soul ^{▼▼ Or took pleasure}is well- pleased;
^fI will put My Spirit upon Him,
^g And He shall proclaim ^{▼▼ Or judgment} justice to the ^{▼▼ Or nations} Gentiles.
19 ^j“He will not quarrel, nor cry out;
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
20 ^k“A battered reed He will not break off,
And a smoldering wick He will not put out,
Until He ^{▼▼ Or puts forth} leads ^{▼▼ Or judgment} justice to victory.
21 ⁿ“And in His name the ^{▼▼ Or nations} Gentiles will hope.”
